Our story

Growing more than succulents, we're growing community

Succulent and Pot Creations by L&M was organically created for community. A community my disabled adult son Chris and his friends desired. During the COVID pandemic, Chris invited his best friend, Ruben, over, and our first Pot-A-Plant workshop naturally occurred. Ruben’s enthusiastic desire to share his experience with his peers and parents showed us the overwhelming desire of community for all people of disabilities. In 2023, we provided our first adaptive Pot-A-Plant workshop at Project T.E.A.M., the participants excitement and appreciation was extremely joyful. Following a Pot-A-Plant workshop at Project T.E.A.M., the City of Riverside Parks and Recreation invited us to become a vendor for upcoming city events. It is a wonderful journey to share our passion for plants and foster a sense of community to all.
